Sutton's revival of Anything Goes has found a home on Broadway. According to BroadwayWorld, the newest revival of Cole Porter's classic musical will play at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Previews begin March 10, 2011, and the show officially opens on April 7, 2011. Kathleen Marshall will direct and choreograph this Roundabout Theatre Company production.

Sutton will be playing Sonja Walsk to Seth Rudetsky's Vernon Gersh in in a concert version of "They're Playing Our Song" on August 30 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College to benefit The Actors Fund. Denis Jones will direct and choreograph with Steve Freeman serving as musical director. On June 26, 2010, Sutton finished her run at Cafe Carlyle in NYC.

Sutton's Next Project!

She will next be seen in Paul Weitz' new comedy, Trust, at Second Stage Theatre. Zach Braff, Bobby Cannavale, and Ari Graynor will also be appearing in this play.Previews begin July 23, 2010

The show runs August 12 to September 5.

Please note that Sutton's role in Trust is completely different from any other role she's ever played. The show is a dark comedy with adult content.

 

Sutton's Next Broadway Role!

Sutton has been confirmed to star in the 2011 Revival of Cole Porter's classic musical Anything Goes, with an opening set for February 2011. She will be playing the role of Reno Sweeney, a role originated by Ethel Merman, and played by Patti LuPone in the 1987 revival.
